Where's The Big Man?

The face of South Africa. The first thing I for one think of when I think of the country. Bar the World Cup at the minute, obviously. But where is Madiba? Where is Nelson Mandela?

Apparently he is too frail to attend the games, and we understand that tragedy struck the family just before the opening ceremony, so it is understandable  that he hasn't arrived at the games yet. But does anyone else get the feeling he may be kept from going public on the pitch until the final?

I have a feeling that he may hand over the trophy. Don't hold me to it, but he looks like he's practised. Check the picture......
